Origin of Summer in the City:

Summer in the City was created to bring our guests the best local and seasonal products that we could source. The menu is a true celebration of local, summer, and our amazing team of chefs who were inspired to nourish your summer cravings.

SWEET CORN CHOWDER (fresh corn, potatoes, jalapeños, roasted red pepper, parsley)

We used the Ontario harvest as an inspiration while constructing the menus. We choose to source fresh and as local as possible ingredients to highlight what's going on in our area and showcase the crops we produce here in Ontario.

ORGANIC TROUT (Manitoulin seared rainbow trout, quinoa, kale, garlic, parsley butter, fresh Ontario cherries )

We took the selected ingredients back to the SKT kitchen and then put out a call to my culinary team. We asked them what they really wanted to accomplish with the menu, what they've done in the past, and what they would like to do to highlight fresh summer ingredients.

The team was extremely excited and what you have before you, is a true Sociable Kitchen + Tavern collaboration. Utilizing our scratch-style kitchen environment to create fresh ideas for fresh tasting dishes!

There will be a menu change on August 2nd, so keep your eyes peeled for the announcement!
